Gazprom Neft has adopted a common approach to organising charitable activities that is determined by the Policy of Charitable Activities and the corporate standard for Charity Support Procedures.

In 2013, the Company adopted a Charity Concept aimed at improving the effectiveness of charity programmes in its regions of operation. The Concept divides the charity activities into four groups: targeted corporate charity, a give-and-take fund, corporate volunteering, and social initiative grant competitions.

The Company oversees a corporate volunteering programme. Encouraging Company volunteers to donate blood and supporting orphanages and boarding schools are the programme’s key priorities. Events held in 2013 included a Blood Donor’s Day, “Letter to Santa”, “Prepare Your Child for School”, Children’s Day and “Sports Spring”.

In the reporting year, the Company’s employees played an active part in Gazprom Neft’s Year of Ecology volunteer programmes. Volunteers helped clear rubbish from coastal and urban regions, planted trees and improved urban areas. Over 7,500 Company employees took part in corporate volunteer events in 2013.
